Me dancing around to my music is embarrassing enough, leaving my ego aside. But come on… Who doesn’t have THAT SONG?

I won’t disclose what THAT SONG is for me, just in case that million to one shot happens and OK gets made into a movie. I don’t want to pay through the nose for a song people know I desperately want.

But as a small hint… This isn’t the first time I’ve done a comic strip about it *gestures towards Bishounen Boys*

The highlight of my Tuesday is watching Atop the Fourth Wall. If you are unfamiliar with it, GET familiar with it. Many times, it has actually made me feel better about my comics (particularly, any episode dealing with Rob Liefeld).

But yes, for as much as I adore Linkara, I am also TERRIFIED. I try to hold onto the belief that confidence in your work is inversely proportionate to how good it actually is. But I could always be wrong…

I’ve been to two J-Rock concerts. The first– Dir En Grey– I actually had quite a bit of room. Because I’m not a huge fan, I chose to hang back at the bar with my brother. Due to the hugely underaged crowd, the bar was sparse, but the front was indeed packed. When I saw Hyde and I was in the second row…. Jesus Christ, that was an intense experience. Thankfully, the awesome that is Hyde stopped me from freaking out from the number of people pressed up against me.

All that work, all of that frustration… And I always just end up hating what I’ve done. No wonder so many artists have drinking problems.

Wow, these are some bleak sentiments. Just remember, if I really thought it was THAT bad, I’d stop.

This strip was my mum’s idea. She suggested it before I did Lost in Translation Pt 1. I told her I’d already written a strip on the topic of misheard lyrics, but I had to make it work. “Sunrise meatballs” indeed. And much love to Crystal, who pointed out “gay men go”. I’ve read the lyrics for “Hideaway”. I’ve read an English translation of “Hideaway”. I’ve listened to “Hideaway” probably a hundred times. Still don’t understand it and think it sounds like “You got a bojangle”… Don’t get me started on “Stay Away”. WTF does “Trying trying in yourself” mean?

But to be honest, this comic is a total lie. I’d NEVER be able to get the Japanese correct.

I love listening to SModcast. It’s hilarious. Unfortunately, I do have to limit it to when I’m penciling or doing digital work. Ink does not have a handy “undo” feature.

You ESPECIALLY don’t want to underestimate his want to touch or be touched by other men. Both Illuminati and Vanilla have been known to melt FANGIRLS, let alone gaydars. But to be fair, I think Gackt even had chemistry with the speaker in the Illuminati live. And Moon Child… Well, it’s summed up in the alternate title given by my brother: “Gay Vampires Who Hate Themselves”.
